About Me
I love learning, reading, and writing, and I hope I can share with my students how fun they can be as well. I know everyone has a different learning style and I am determined to work with my students until we find what works best for them.
Education
I received by BA in International Studies from the University of Colorado Denver. I will be attending Columbia University starting in January 2023 for my Master of Social Work. I also have my TEFL Certification to teach English as a foreign language.
Teaching Experience
I tutor students in writing on Wyzant. I mainly tutor college and graduate level students in academic writing but occasionally I accept high school level students as well. In the past I have also tutored homeless elementary school students in reading and have helped as a Teaching Assistant in a Special Ed classroom.
Interests
I really like diving, snorkeling, dancing, going to the dog park, rock climbing, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, and traveling.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
